POSITION SUMMARY:


Primoris Renewables is seeking a Logistics Supervisor with in-depth knowledge of Procurement and Inventory Management processes. Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Logistics & Inventory Management, will work with Site Material Specialists, project team, vendors, owner representatives and the Renewables purchasing team to understand the material concerns of multiple work disciplines and help ensure that all pertinent materials are available onsite to support the construction schedule.


PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Gain and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Primoris Procurement and Material Management processes. Serve as primary liaison between the SMS logistics team, site team and the Procurement group regarding material matters.

Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and construction team on delivery schedules and all material related issues.

Utilize various elements of the Procurement module, including Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Purchase Contracts, Owner Supplied, Receiving, and Reports.

Provide guidance to and direct the work of Site Material Specialists (SMS).

Work with Safety, Compliance and Quality in supporting construction on building of project site.

Develop and maintain a good working relationship with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and project team to strengthen company position. Assist the site management team in displaying and promoting the company values and culture while representing the company in professional manner.

Assist with final inventory recovery and jobsite demobilization activities.

Perform additional assignments as directed.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor s degree in Material/Inventory Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.

Minimum 5 years experience in Material/Inventory Management, Inventory Management, or related field.

Experience in training and coaching a team on industrial/commercial construction projects preferred.


PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Knowledge of Utility Scale PV industry or Renewable Energy and applicable inventory software preferred (SAP or similar ERP systems).

Knowledge of Procurement and Inventory Management processes.

Knowledge of inventory and audit processes to include implementation.

Must have a valid driver s license.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication (oral, written, presentation) and team building skills.

Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.

Strong presentation skills required. Ability to give presentations to 10+ people.

A Safety-first mentality is a high priority and OSHA 30 certification a plus.

Bilingual candidates a preferred.

Ability to travel up to 50%.
