The Rental and Used Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our rental and used equipment business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement rental and used equipment sales strategies.
- Work with sales, customer service, operation and finance teams to ensure goals are met and customer satisfaction results in repeat sales opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Oversee the rental fleet management, ensuring equipment meets quality standards for rent, equipment availability meets market needs, exceeds agreed upon equipment utilization.
- Manage the inventory of used equipment, including sourcing, pricing, and marketing.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote and sell used equipment.
- Negotiate and finalize sales agreements, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Ensure excellent customer service throughout the entire sales and rental process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of heavy equipment, construction, and related industries.
- Experience in heavy equipment sales and rental management.
- Possess or have the ability to acquire a CDL.
- Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft office, ERP and CRM systems.
