Your New Role
As part of this position, you will work closely with certified technicians to install, maintain, and repair safety products manufactured by Survitec on various vessels and offshore rigs. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in implementing standard servicing protocols, maintaining Survitec's commitment to continuous improvement and operational efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience, skill acquisition, and extensive travel within the US and offshore. Expect to travel for up to two weeks per month as part of your job duties. A high level of fitness is required due to the physical demands of the role. What You Can Expect from the Role
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Assist qualified technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of Survitec safety equipment.
- Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Aid in testing new products or processes under supervision.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and develop diagnostic skills.
- Adhere to Survitec policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to a safety-first culture by identifying and mitigating risks.
The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have Essential Criteria:- Demonstrated accountability and commitment to fulfilling customer needs.
- Proven problem-solving skills in complex situations.
- Solid technical background.
- Valid TWIC Card.
- Fitness level sufficient to pass oil and gas physicals and helicopter survival training.
- Willingness to travel
- Experience with lifesaving equipment, including fire extinguishers and breathing apparatus is advantageous
