You will delve into the dynamic world of renewable power generation and storage. From utility-scale projects to commercial ventures, you'll engage in diverse design and execution tasks, spanning from initial concept to detailed implementation.


Your role will involve:

- Assessing energy storage technologies, advising clients on optimal solutions.

- Conducting battery sizing assessments, incorporating robust strategies for scalability and efficiency.

- Performing electrical system modeling, encompassing vital analyses like grounding, load flow, and short-circuit evaluations.

- Crafting protective relay settings, ensuring system integrity and reliability.

- Collaborating on electrical designs, from inception to fruition, for energy storage initiatives.

- Contributing to equipment procurement, specification development, and factory acceptance testing.

- Drafting construction documents, facilitating seamless installation of energy storage systems.

- Applying foundational electrical engineering principles, codes, and practices to project execution.

- Supporting CAD-related tasks, including drawing updates and corrections.

- Conducting field inspections and measurements, ensuring project compliance and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an ABET-accredited program.

- Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program, coupled with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.

- Master's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering can substitute for one year of experience.

- Minimum of 3 years of electrical engineering experience, with a preference for consulting background.

- Expertise in lithium-ion battery technology, electrical power systems, and associated design and construction.

- Familiarity with SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or similar modeling software is advantageous.

- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.

- Prior consulting engineering experience is desirable.
