Responsibilities for the Job Foreman/Superintendent:
- Roll up your sleeves and work alongside your crew, while also providing expert supervision to ensure project success.
- Lead and motivate drywall/carpentry crew, assigning and communicating daily tasks.
- Proactively plan to prevent and resolve job site challenges.
- Order materials, review work orders, and ensure job requirements are understood by the team.
- Organize and equip vans with necessary tools, supplies, and safety gear.
- Conduct on-site inspections, ensuring adherence to job specifications, company standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor and address any safety concerns, reporting issues promptly.
- Oversee job completion, obtain customer feedback, and verify worker time records.
- Manage shop inventory, anticipate needs, place orders, and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and repair of company vehicles.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all vehicle-related matters.
Duties for the Job Foreman/Superintendent:
- 5+ years in management experience.
- 5+ years leading drywall, carpentry, & paint projects with a hands-on approach.
- Proactive communicator, collaborating seamlessly with managers, estimators, and job runners.
- Skilled at supervising and redirecting team members' work effectively.
- Proficient in operating various construction equipment (man lifts, telehandlers, etc.).
- Exceptional problem-solver, quickly addressing on-site challenges.
- Strong work ethic and adaptability to a flexible schedule.
- Proven ability to multitask, think critically, and learn new skills.
- Excellent communication in English, Spanish proficiency a plus.
- Must be reliable and a doer without being micromanaged.
