Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety and quality assurance practices
- Verify quality control items such as product weights, coding, and packaging.
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of equipment and processes.
- Maintain proper documentation in all formats of recordkeeping.
- Operate equipment at an efficient level to fulfill production schedules.
- Preventative maintenance on equipment and processes.
- Assist in other areas of the plant as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Position Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment.
- Demonstrate an understanding of powder packaging operations, flows, and troubleshooting ability.
- Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of Safety, Quality, and Efficiency.
- Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and company guidelines in order to maintain regulatory compliance.
- General computer skills and ability to operate testing equipment.
- Maintain necessary powered industrial vehicle certifications.
- EX. Forklift, Scissor Lift, Floor Scrubber
- Demonstrate the Qualified Individuals responsibilities for Preventative Controls
Education/Experience: - High School Diploma or General Education Degree. (GED)
- Food manufacturing and industrial machine operation experience preferred.
