Job Title: Sales Representative - Protective Packaging (North East USA)
Company Overview: We are a leading manufacturer in the protective packaging industry, specializing in corner board, edge board, and V board products. With a strong presence in the United States, we are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to drive sales growth in the North East region.
Location: North East USA (Preferably New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and revenue for protective packaging products, specifically targeting corner boards.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated territory, focusing on key industries and potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, leveraging existing contacts within the industry to drive sales.
- Conduct frequent face-to-face meetings with prospects, making cold calls, meeting in person, and networking to expand the customer base.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Travel extensively within the North East region to meet clients, attend trade shows, and explore new business prospects.
- Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development efforts.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales within the protective packaging industry, preferably with experience selling corner boards or related products.
- Strong network of contacts within the North East region, particularly in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role, demonstrating stability and commitment to the industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
- Willingness to travel extensively, especially during the initial phase of client acquisition and relationship building.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for driving sales growth and exceeding targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
