Position Summary
As an Insulation Installer, you will be responsible for installing various types of insulation materials in both new construction and existing buildings. Installing insulation is a way we provide our customer with an energy-saving solution for their residential and commercial buildings, At Mead Lumber, we pride ourselves on our high-quality work and exceptional customer service. Major Responsibilities
- Load trucks accurately and according to the list of materials on sales and work order/invoice.
- Install both blow in and batt insulation that meet/exceed the customers' expectations while within the general context of the work order.
- Maintain safe conditions, neat housekeeping and superb manners at office, warehouse, job site, and in company vehicles.
- Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by the Installed Manager.
- Attend training sessions to learn and keep current on products and services we sell. Assist in the training, support and development of peers.
Minimum Requirements- Education/Training: High School degree or equivalent.
- Possess some product knowledge of building material and/or hardware products preferred but not necessary.
- Able to climb up and down a ladder, scaffolding, and work within the framing of a building.
- Able to work in tight and confined places, such as attics and crawl spaces.
- Able to use common hand tools, including saws and stapling hammer.
- Must be able to work in varying climates of heat and cold.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Able to work independently or with a crew.
- Must be reliable and flexible. (Work hours may exceed 40 hours a week.)
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to maintain a safe work environment.

Wage: $17.00/hourly
