What impact you will make?

Our client is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Analyst working on their IT Operations Management (ITOM) initiatives, focusing on Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of their Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and related processes. You will be accountable for the governance and maintenance of the CMDB, configuration identification and control. You will collaborate with other IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and Service Management teams. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and work with leaders across the organization to ensure adherence to SACM processes within the ServiceNow environment.

What you will be doing?

  • Develop and execute the global strategy for IT Asset Management and Configuration Management programs within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Manage the IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules, including Discovery, Event Management, Cloud Management, Orchestration, and Service Mapping.
  • Implement and manage processes for identifying, controlling, and baselining configuration items throughout their lifecycle within ServiceNow's Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Foster collaboration with IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) teams to integrate configuration management practices into operational and asset management processes within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure a holistic approach to service management, particularly within the ServiceNow environment.
  • Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms within ServiceNow to provide insights into the state of the CMDB, configuration item relationships, and adherence to configuration management processes.
  • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) within the ServiceNow platform to measure the effectiveness of SACM activities and overall IT operations management.


What skills do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business management or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow Platform
  • Proven experience in IT Operations Management and its modules such as Discovery, Event Management, Cloud Management, Orchestration, and Service Mapping.
  • Proven experience in Service Asset & Configuration Management ownership with an understanding of CSDM.
  • Ability to influence across organizational levels, particularly senior leaders.
