- Related Associate or Bachelor Degree highly preferred
- Additional Certifications or CourseWork may be transferrable
Plus Qualifications:
- Civil3D experience
- Additional Degrees and/or Certifications
- Experience working on Civil/Structural Projects
Job Description:
One of the leading Engineering firms in the KC area is looking to bring on a Civil CAD Tech/Assistant Detailer to their growing team. This role will be in the Transmission and Distribution Global Practice, supporting a variety of client EPC projects - primarily focusing in on Civil & Structural. In this role, the candidate will also have the opportunity to learn a variety of different software.
Day to day responsibilities listed below:
- Prepare new drawings and revise existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts.
- Responsible for adhering to company and client drafting standards and procedures.
- Responsible for adhering to the drafting practices of selected discipline.
- Assist in drafting design and documentation for various projects.
- Assist with tasks utilizing standard drafting detail programs.
- Assist in continuous drafting detail improvement efforts.
- Research solutions to project concerns and present solutions to design problems.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
