Regional Sales Manager - Responsibilities:

  • Exceed monthly and yearly sales targets within your assigned territory
  • Identify, cultivate, and close key opportunities within the life science research domain
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive incremental growth
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers to uncover new prospects and strengthen existing connections
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports
  • Maintain up-to-date account information within the Sales Force CRM system
  • Present and effectively communicate the technology, applications, benefits, and value propositions
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer relationships using internal resources
  • Collaborate with Field Application Scientists (FAS) and Service teams to ensure successful product demonstrations, sample workups, and post-sales support
  • Ensure customer success across all accounts
  • Participate in trade shows, lunch & learn sessions, and user groups


Regional Sales Manager - Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or relevant field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of capital equipment sales experience
  • Proven success in selling bioanalytical instruments and reagents to research laboratories
  • Familiarity with Bio-Layer Interferometry (BLI), Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), or ELISA is advantageous
  • Self-motivated, sales-driven individual with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport at all levels
  • Must reside within the territory and be willing to travel 30 - 40%, including overnight stays
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Sales Force, or similar CRM sales funnel tools.
