Job description
Our client is a premier distributor of commercial equipment, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the territory. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for applying a consultative sales approach in prospecting, developing, and closing new business.
Responsibilities:
Building the business within the territory
Targeting potential customers and assessing opportunities for sales
Arranging meetings with potential customers and selling product offerings
Analyzing competitor activities in the region, and assessing opportunities for business development
Networking with owners/operators and building relationships
Attending relevant industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build business
Creating sales strategies to obtain market share opportunities
Regular site visits to maintain customer retention
Maintain data in the CRM; schedule appointments, follow-ups and maintain accurate contact information
Other duties as assigned
Required Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent; and 2 years of business-to-business sales
Possess a hunter mentality
Bachelor s degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Industry knowledge & experience preferred
Excellent communication abilities
Meet assigned territory quota s
Problem solving
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures and legal documents
Write reports and business correspondence
Promptly respond to inquiries from employees
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
Ability to travel within assigned territory
Must be able to pass pre-employment checks including background check

Experience:
- Commercial laundry sales: 1 year (Preferred)
- Cold calling: 1 year (Preferred)
- B2B sales: 1 year (Preferred)
- License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
