LHH is seeking a Legal Secretary to join the team of a leading, international law firm's office in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate for this role will have 2+ years of Litigation Legal Administrative experience and strong knowledge of state and federal e-filing. This is a full-time position, operates on a hybrid schedule, and offers generous benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare court statements and forms.
- Transcribe and proofread legal documents.
- Manage records, projects, and calendars.
- Index and update pleadings and discovery binders.
- Collect and deliver documents.
- Assist with trial preparation and briefs.
- Communicate with vendors, experts, lawyers, and opposing counsel.
- Provide administrative support to one or more lawyers.
- Source and verify important case intelligence.
- Answer phone calls, take notes/messages, and redirect calls when appropriate.
- Maintain and update inventories of contact details.
Skills:
- Strong time-management, organizational, and typing skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with state and federal rules and procedures.
- Litigation experience.
- Experience drafting TOCs, TOAs and other litigation shell documents
