Support the Director of Commercial Innovation & Market Outreach (CIMO) in the management and communication needs of special projects assigned by the Vice President of PDIP;

Utilize Process Improvement, Change Management, Project Management, and Business Process Management disciplines for successful, on-budget, and on-time initiatives delivery;

Ensure all parts of assigned projects are processed, organized, and progressing according to predetermined timelines and deliverable dates;

Develop reports on project outcomes and institutional barriers to the Vice President other appropriate management channels as needed. Escalate issues that may prevent successful project implementation as necessary;

Facilitate the organizational adoption from new or emergent delivery methods through the identification and provisioning of any special training or other deliverables that support successful onboarding of new delivery methods within Capital Program Delivery (CAPD);

Take on raw ideas, hypotheses, and scenarios and shape them into supporting processes/procedures for project planning and implementation purposes;

Analyze information and data (financial, budgetary, statistical, and historical) to develop recommendations for project planning efforts;

Facilitate lessons-learned workshops both internal to PDIP and other departments in CAPD; and

Create and distribute PDIP post-delivery surveys for further process refinement and continuous improvement.

Skills and Requirements **Background and Experience Required**

A minimum of five (5) years of project management experience in public transportation or in a transportation-related field;

Demonstrated Microsoft Office suite skills for spreadsheets, databases, graphics, presentations, and word processing;

Ability to perform data gathering, data analysis, and data interpretation activities and to assemble disparate data into meaningful results, conclusions, and recommendations;

Skill in interpersonal relations to establish and maintain effective working relationships and deal with others in a customer-oriented business-like manner;

Skill in quantitative analysis to develop, analyze, and review quantitative data; and

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, both orally and in writing.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or in a related field
