Position Summary


We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance to oversee our high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in US GAAP, accounting policies, public company & external compliance filing requirements, and have held a senior management position leading and developing teams. This position will be the head of our US operations, reporting to the GM for North America, while working closely with HQ supporting collaborative activities.

Role Objectives

  • Lead all financial operations related to the commercial activity of the company including, bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, and FP&A
  • Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data
  • Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscape
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines
  • Achieve financial reporting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions
  • Maximize payroll efficiency through innovative process development


Job Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting operations including AR, AP, GL, inventory, revenue, and payroll.
  • Manage the preparation of monthly regional financial reporting packages
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, including the preparation of multi-location sales tax returns, property tax returns, and BEA filings
  • and analyzing the company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and cash flow
  • the corporate annual business plan development and budgeting process and continuously monitor, enforce and report to HQ interfaces
  • Research technical accounting issues and propose recommendation for Accounting best practices
  • Serve as a financial focal point for HQ Finance
  • Work closely with NA management team, publish accounting KPI and metric reports for senior management on biweekly, monthly, and annual basis depending on requirements
  • Control all incentive plans offered to the company customers and working closely with HQ revenues team
  • Propose and implement systems, accounting policies, practices, and procedures to align with Global and local requirements adhering to legal requirements with cross functional support
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows
  • Oversee, coach & mentor NA finance team with world class leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA/CPA is a plus
  • 7-10 years professional accounting experience
  • Managerial experience and great interpersonal skills
  • Proven recent work experience as a Senior Accounting/Finance Manager/Assistant Controller/Controller
  • Exemplary history of financial project management and ability to execute short and long-term projects
  • Public company experience a must
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite is required, Power Pivot/BI is a plus
  • Advanced experience with a major Corporate ERP system, Oracle Fusion preferred
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Ability to be proactive, flexible, and to work well under pressure in a supportive and fast paced environment
  • High standards for organization, attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency
  • Able to handle assignments independently and concurrently with conflicting deadlines requiring prioritization and execution
  • Strong listening, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong team contributor: ability and willingness to work hard to achieve department objectives
  • Must be able to exercise appropriate judgment as necessary
