Apex Systems is looking to hire a Solutions/Systems Architect for one of their reputable Fortune 500 clients!
Client: Financial/Payment Services
Location: Chandler, AZ OR Dallas, TX - 3 days a week on site (FLEXIBLE when needed for appointments, school pick up, etc)
Duration: 12 month + Contract to HIRE (this is a well funded project, 3+ years in making, contractors are fully expected to convert)
Rate: $80+ per hour starting pay **W2 only** (please still apply if looking for more!!)

Qualifications (majority, not all required):
- 8+ years of experience with Systems & applications architecture (Ecommerce, Payments Domain, Merchant Services experience highly preferred, need at least financial experience)
- Development background with Java OR .NET & microservices development
- application and system integrations experience - need strong integration experience
- Past experience presenting to stakeholders and audiences of various technical ability - strong documentation
Job Description:
This team recently acquired a new POS system and will be integrating/implementing this system throughout the bank.
Provide the Consumer and Small Business solutions architecture team with proven innovative solutions within the Payment and Merchant Technology space. Deliver Omni-channel solutions within across traditional payment networks and trending payment networks including virtual wallets and merchant services. Participates in design and creation of architecture deliverables to meet business requirements; including impacted components, integration patterns, and performance optimization, and infrastructure capacity. Determine the technical and operational feasibility of solutions. May lead multiple projects with competing deadlines. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. Will not have direct reports but will influence and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations, as well as mentor newer Architects.
