Job Description Cook II, Full-Time - 7439-2280 **Description**
Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is looking for a full-time Cook II to prepare and cook food for hospital patients, employees and visitors to minimize waste by performing the following duties.
- Cooks in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served and washes dishes as needed.
- Reviews menus and production sheets. Sets up hot side of tray line and serves meals.
- Records refrigerator, freezer, and food temperatures daily.
- Uses a variety of light and heavy kitchen equipment.
- Prepares patients late trays as needed.
- Assists with serving staff meals and runs cash register as needed.
- Assists with clean-up of cafeteria meals.
- Direct other employees and make critical decisions when no supervisor available.
This FT position will be working predominately 5AM 1:30PM, and 11AM 7:30PM shifts, 5 days a week, including most weekends.
