Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to handle a diverse caseload of complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent advocacy abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality legal representation. Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting. New Jersey state court experience is required. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of federal and New Jersey state laws related to commercial litigation, civil procedure, and evidence rules. In addition, candidates must have a proven track record of handling and managing commercial litigation cases independently. A strong academic background and excellent research, writing and communication skills are essential. Candidates must be admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the New Jersey State Bar with a minimum of 4 years of experience practicing commercial litigation.
- Strong litigation skills with a proven track record of successfully handling complex commercial disputes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to advocate persuasively on behalf of clients.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
