Medix is looking to hire a Patient Service Representative for a Radiology Clinic in Beverly Hills! Our client is looking to bring on eager and customer service oriented professionals with a minimum of one year experience in a Healthcare setting.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Greet and register patients in a friendly and service oriented manner
- Collect and log alll co-pays and fees
- Give patients appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and provide directions to the facility if needed
- Coordinate with back office staff for timely and effective care of patients
- Registration/patient check in/Documentation prior to patients coming in
- Verifying insurance
- Verifying all facts before the patient walks in
- Authorization for HMO and PPO
- 15 Patients an hour MINIMUM
Must Have Skills/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Friendly/customer service oriented
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Stong multitasking and communication skills
- Medical terminology knowledge and recent healthcare experience
