We are seeking a Senior Manager of Product Management to join our dynamic team in the Life Sciences industry. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of Product Managers (up to 10), ensuring the successful execution of product strategies. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, monitoring product performance, and contributing to product innovation efforts. As a key player in our organization, you will bring your expertise in product development and Life Sciences industry knowledge to drive our products to success. Client will pay in full for Relocation Costs.
- RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Lead and oversee the Product Management department within Hamilton s Laboratory products business unit.
- Manage a team of Product Managers (up to 10) and assist them in developing and executing product strategies.
- Collaborate with the Director of Product Management to ensure alignment with the overall company objectives.
- Participate in cross-functional teams, providing input and expertise to support the successful launch and management of products.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competition, and contribute to product innovation and differentiation efforts.
- Contribute to the creation and management of the product roadmap, helping prioritize and allocate resources.
- Assist in defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor product performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Support a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the Product Management team.
- Prepare reports and presentations on product performance for higher-level management.
- Present product strategies, updates, and performance to senior executives and stakeholders.
- Manages other essential tasks as assigned and responds to change productively.
- QUALIFICATIONS: Extensive knowledge of the Life Sciences industry, including regulations, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Understanding of scientific and technical aspects relevant to the company's products.
- Proficiency in product development methodologies, including stage-gate processes and agile methodologies.
- Strong product lifecycle management, from concept to market launch and post-launch phases.
- The ability to formulate and execute a clear and effective product strategy aligned with the company's long-term goals.
- Strategic decision-making based on data, market research, and customer insights.
- Exceptional leadership skills to inspire and guide a team of Product Managers.
- A mindset focused on continuous innovation and adaptation to changing market conditions.
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred) from a NOT for Profit/Accredited University.
- Substantial experience in Product Management within the Life Sciences industry, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Successful ownership of product development processes and methodologies.
- Proven track record of contributing to successful product launches in Life Sciences.
