Inspired Solutions is seeking dedicated and skilled Board Certified/Board Eligible Primary Care Physicians to provide critical primary care services. This role involves delivering high-quality medical care to veterans, ensuring their health and well-being in accordance with VA standards.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to veterans, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, order appropriate diagnostic tests, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring all medical information is documented in accordance with VA guidelines
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including nurse practitioners and physician assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to all VA policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including maintaining up-to-date credentials and certifications
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventive health measures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education to enhance professional knowledge and skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Holidays Observed: New Year s Day, Martin Luther King s Birthday, President s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and any day declared a national holiday
- Department of Veterans Affairs Fayetteville VA Medical Center, 7300 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304
- VA Business Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Clinic or Operating Room (OR) Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Practice
- Currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association
- Possession of a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in family medicine within the last five years
- Experience with the VA system is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to manage a wide range of medical conditions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach
- Must be a citizen of the United States
- Must provide verifiable evidence of educational and training experiences
- Must comply with the Facility's Medical Staff By-Laws, rules, and regulations
- Must not be listed on the OIG excluded parties list
