Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Location: South Chicago

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager (HRM) will work collaboratively with the Director of Human Resources and all Human Resources (HR) team members to implement, monitor, and revise organizational policies and procedures, with particular focus on talent recruitment, development, and retention, developing, and maintaining, internal and external relationships within the organization regarding talent recruitment. Oversight of day to day performance management, review, and implementation; benefits administration, and employee and labor relations.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. - 5+ years of experience in HR management. - Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Recruits for all provider and director/manager-level positions, with a firm understanding of both job-related experience and skills and organizational needs.
  • Develops, and reports on, recruitment and retention metrics, including, but not limited to, position time-to-fill, retention success rates, turnover rates, and develops candidate tracking.
  • Develop and implement tools to monitor employee engagement and retention such as Bonusly recognition program as well as CFHC total rewards program.
  • Support employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Oversee annual open enrollment process including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with all record-keeping requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in HR laws and regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field required. Master's degree strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of Five (5) of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources Management, including a minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources Generalist experience where responsibility for managing FMLA, performance, recruitment, benefits, and compensation are demonstrated.
  • Demonstrated verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills with individuals of various backgrounds and experience levels.
  • Prior experience in health care and/or FQHC strongly preferred.

Work Arrangement: This role is eligible for a "hybrid remote" work arrangement. If hybrid, it is expected this person would be able to meet for "in person" meetings when needed or at the request of others. In-person meetings may be required on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, etc.).

Requirements

Education and Experience
