Viridian Staffing's ( www.viridianstaffing.com ) Client is looking for Temporary Packaging Technicians to help with packaging duties during a very busy season for a cannabis company in the Las Vegas, Nevada, area.
Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing is the Original staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry.
As a Packaging Technician, you will help to measure cannabis products, package the product, and then label the product accordingly. You will also get to help collect samples and perform tests to ensure quality. You may perform a variety of other processing tasks as needed. While experience packaging cannabis is not required, you should have experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to closely follow standard operating procedures is required. You should also have the ability to sit, stand, twist, and kneel for up to 8 hours. Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, and kneel up to 8 hours/day
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Dedication to following SOPs, including all safety standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to take direction
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Ability to arrive on time
- 1+ year of cannabis packaging experience preferred
- Valid State of Nevada Cannabis Production and Cultivation Agent cards
- North Las Vegas Work Card
Compensation: $15/hour
