Austin Machine is a well-established aerospace job shop. We provide a clean and air conditioned environment for its employees. Currently we are looking to add a First Article Inspector with CMM experience to our team.
*MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE TO QUALIFY* - this is not an entry level position
Responsibilities:
- Performing first piece inspections from CNC machines
- Performing in-process production inspections
- Final inspections, as well as approving incoming materials & outside processing
- Inspections are performed in accordance with AS9100 and using AS9102 procedure and forms
- Must be able to read engineering drawing, work with CAD solid models, and be experienced with GD&T
- CMM experience MUST
