About

We're Castle, a profitable Series A startup on a mission to revolutionize trust and safety for users across large consumer platforms like Canva, Atlassian, and Rockstar Games. Backed by Y Combinator, Index Ventures, and prominent angel investors from Datadog, Stripe, and New Relic.

Reporting directly to the founding CEO, you'll be the driving force behind our developer-focused content strategy, shaping how we communicate Castle's unique value proposition to a technical audience. You'll own our inbound marketing engine, attracting and converting high-quality leads to fuel our growth. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact in the fight against online fraud.

We prefer candidates who can work out of our Williamsburg office a couple of days a week, especially during ramp-up, but we are flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Develop our developer-focused content strategy, calendar, and oversee the creation of blog posts, white papers, case studies, webinars, technical documentation, and more.
  • Manage the entire content lifecycle, from ideation to publishing and promotion, ensuring timely execution.
  • Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to create content that supports new feature releases and ensures technical accuracy
  • Analyze content performance metrics (website traffic, lead conversion, etc.) to refine and optimize our strategy.
  • Source, manage, and collaborate with freelance writers to scale content production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • A startup mindset flexibility, agility, and adaptability. We are passionate about limiting work-in-progress and deeply value work/life balance, but in this fast-paced startup environment, you'll be expected to pivot between pre-sales, post-sales, and support regularly
  • Several years of professional experience developing and executing successful content strategies for complex B2B SaaS products.
  • Prefer experience developing content for fraud prevention or cybersecurity solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Experience managing freelance writers and editors.

At Castle, you ll be part of a team that s dedicated to creating a safe, secure online environment for millions of users worldwide. If you re ready to make a difference and help shape the future of digital security, we want to hear from you.
