We are seeking a full-time Site/Logistics Manager-Last Mile to lead delivery operations in a fast-paced environment. The Site/Logistics Manager is responsible for supporting the overall execution and performance of the operation for a specific location, including staffing, customer relations, performance, and direction of the overall operation.

This position requires a results-oriented, high-energy, dynamic individual in a fast-paced, high-growth delivery network.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop a solid understanding of the business scope.

Cultivate and sustain a safe environment, high-quality customer delivery, professional driver experience, and a positive culture.

Delivering in a timely and accurate manner packages to recipients

Monitoring, verifying, communicating responding to and acting upon the information generated from packages out for delivery as well as responding in a timely manner to requests for information or inquiries from internal and external sources

Following up on service issues, finding solutions and achieving resolution, closing out delivery day

Building an operation that is capable of exceeding KPI s, increasing volume and producing a profit

Excellent communication skills with all levels of management and staff will be imperative.

Manage and develop 3rd party vendors, providing objectives & challenging opportunities to advance the company s Final Mile efforts

Assist in the recruitment and development of staff and Independent Contractors.

Ensure that practices, policies and procedures are enforced and consistently implemented.

Schedule and participate in negotiations with Vendors, Contractors and Service Providers to secure best value/service standards are met.

Active involvement in learning and reviewing P&L performance ensuring decisions and practices coincide with budgetary goals.

Establish effective communication and relationships with customers to ensure performance measurements and goals are understood and achieved, and that new business opportunities are capitalized upon.

Drive initiatives that contribute to long-term excellence.

Responsible for compliance with Local, Federal and State legislation pertaining to personnel, equipment, vehicle and building matters.

Coordinates, resolves, and responds to issues as they pertain to the Operations Performance.

Other duties and tasks as assigned.

In addition to a robust skillset that includes the ability to work independently, problem-solve and communicate effectively, the ideal candidate will possess:

5 years of management and leadership experience in an industrial setting

Experience with small package pickup and delivery company or a courier service or is a must.

Must be very flexible with shift start times as well as days worked, including holidays.

Experience with small parcel, receiving, processing, sorting, and shipping operations.

Ability to rain, coach, and mentor warehouse associates and drivers.

Proven experience in providing high levels of customer service to internal and external customers
