**Head Lifeguard**

The City of Brooks requires Head Lifeguards to join our Aquatics team. If you do not possess the training requirements, don't worry! Job Details & Responsibilities:
The Head Lifeguard position is a part-time position involved at the EID Aquatic Centre. As the Head Lifeguard, you will be responsible for supervising and participating fully as a lifeguard including the instruction of Red Cross and Life Saving Courses. The Head Lifeguard will assist the Aquatic Supervisor and Pool Shift Supervisors in the implementation of the Aquatic Programming.
Requirements:
* As the successful applicant, you must have completed the twelfth (12th) school grade, or equivalent;
* Other training requirements include: National Lifeguard Certificate/Bronze Examiner, National Lifeguard Instructor Certificate, Water Safety Instructor Certificate, and Standard First Aid Certification/Aquatic Emergency Care;
* A valid Class 5 Drivers License; and,
* The ideal candidate will have the ability to work well in a team environment and have strong public relations, interpersonal and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
The 2021 wage range for this position is $20.31 - $21.54 per hour. The successful candidate will also receive a free membership to the JBS Canada Centre during their term of employment.
