Softek Global Services provides both operations & strategic support to tribal 8(a) & commercial organizations. Our client has a vision to provide unmatched consulting services that empower small businesses to confidently navigate the government contracting landscape and secure their share of public sector opportunities. They have a need for an Associate Consultant to join their team. This position will start off as part time, and transition to a full time role. 100% remote.


The main responsibilities of the role include:

Individual will be primarily responsible for assisting in the Certifications and Eligibility practice area, assisting small businesses seeking to apply to various government certification programs, but may also be asked to assist with other practice areas from time to time.

Assist with client intake and preparation of new client files

Coordinate document requests and perform gap analysis of client uploads

Maintain client files on internal server and upload to Certify and other SBA platforms

Perform initial level of document review; compare documents with standard operating procedures and flag for potential problems/further review.


Requirements:

Candidate should be highly organized with great attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and familiarize him/herself with regulations and applications.

No prior SBA/federal contracting experience is required, but candidate should be willing to learn and stay up to date with changing requirements .

Strong communication and time management skills.

Bachelor s Degree or three years of relevant work experience.
