SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Performs manufacturing support activities for a specific product or group of products by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

Follow procedures & protocol for reacting to machine alarms. Defer to production priorities and answer alarms on presses accordingly.

Log all adjustments on proper log sheets following proper processes. If a process change is needed the root cause of the change should be investigated (i.e., tool adjustment cleaning or PM of tool).

Follow all processes for test runs, including parts distributions.

Follow processes for converting a process to another machine and for purging machines.

Follow standardized communication process and expectations. Express ideas and thoughts verbally; exhibit good listening and comprehension.

Determine priorities and scheduling.

Process Tech will go by the priorities set by the schedule depending on what the shift leads determine. The Process Tech should respond timely to address any process issues that arise during the shift.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
