Assistant Marketing Manager

n this Entry-Level position, the Assistant Marketing Manager will provide administrative support for the Marketing Team, including large and small-scale projects, industry events and day to day functions. This is a great opportunity for a recent Marketing grad to grow their skills in the field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Management: Supports marketing projects through the entire project lifecycle, from the initial request through final approval to ensure on-time delivery
  • Use Style Guides and Checklists to review all documents and ensure each project meets the quality requirements before delivery. Verify copy and layouts are correct in terms of content, spacing and formatting. Correct any mechanical errors
  • Website and Social Media Management: Responsible for basic corporate website & social media maintenance and managing website and social media content. Work with creative team to develop social media and website content
  • Show: Assists with all show specific marketing materials, works the vendor registration area, customer registration during the welcome dinner the night before the show, assists during show set up and the day of the show
  • Assistance: Maintain digital portal and mailing distribution of marketing materials to sales force. Prepare and distributes various sales reports to multiple departments
  • Asset Maintenance: Photography, sales materials, etc.
  • additional tasks and responsibilities to be assigned at the discretion of the Director of Marketing & Corporate Brands


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing/Advertising and relevant field or commissural experience1-2 years of experience in Marketing or related field
  • Excellent proficiency required in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Data Entry (Retailix - experience is a plus, but not required); Word Press (experience is a plus, but not required, easy to learn); InDesign (experience is a plus, but not required, basic usage is easy to learn)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities
  • Self motivated, team orientated, resourceful and results driven
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to learn internal programs quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
