WHO YOU ARE:

We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our team. As a Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of reporting, auditing, accounting controls, and general ledger management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, experience in the tech industry, and exceptional leadership abilities.


WHAT YOU LL DO:

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Strong focus on reporting, audit, accounting controls, policies, and partnerships. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Partner with other stakeholders in our annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risk.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide strategic financial guidance and support decision-making.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.


WHAT YOU LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • 15 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 10 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Experience in the tech industry or a similar fast-paced environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred), and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in reporting, auditing, core accounting, policies and general ledger management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
