Job Description:
As a Sales Representative at Intek, you'll execute our outbound sales process, working closely with an owner to refine the strategy. You'll receive a defined sales process, including targeted account lists and campaigns. The ideal candidate will also self-source 50% of their leads to develop a book of business.
This role is designed to support your success as a Sales rep, allowing you to grow your book of business while you help local businesses. As a member of our Sales team, you'll work alongside our owner Justin, receiving consistent 1-on-1 coaching and access to tools to help you exceed quotas.
About Intek:
Intek has been providing truck and equipment finance solutions to local businesses for almost 40 years. We work with owners of small vocational trucking fleets (1-25 vehicles) in industries such as Tow, Tree Service, Roll-Off, and Contracting. Intek is family-owned and operated, now in its second generation.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate new commercial business through outbound phone sales
- Work with an owner to execute and refine the sales process
- Self-source 50% of their leads and use other channels to develop a book of business
- Service existing clients
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of phone and email sales experience in local SMBs
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve sales targets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with a proven sales track record
- Spanish-speaking a plus
Benefits:
- $35,000 base salary plus uncapped commissions
- The average first-year salary would be $80,000 (including base, ramp-up draw, and commissions)
- Top performers can earn well over $100,000.
