This is an onsite role at our Raleigh, NC office. This position is not open to those seeking a remote working setting.

This position requires a self-motivated and creative professional who can take high-level or abstract concepts and translate them into fresh and engaging designs for print and digital. The Graphic Designer reports to the Creative Operations Supervisor and works with internal creative team members and external design resources to develop company- and client-branded custom visuals for events, presentations, marketing collateral, and general communications. The Graphic Designer should have experience developing design deliverables for a variety of platforms.



Primary Responsibilities

  • Work on the graphic development of deliverables for multiple products and brands.
  • Develop unique brand identities/themes for events. Create associated print and digital deliverables.
  • Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with internal teams and clients.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and deliver high-quality work.
  • Create presentations, with a focus on visuals, rather than text-heavy content.
  • Develop assets to be used in video, animation, and motion graphic deliverables, as needed.
  • Update and maintain internal databases for design archiving and reference purposes.

Qualifications

  • 2 - 4+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • A minimum of an associate's degree (2 year) in advertising, communication design, or visual arts. A bachelor s degree (4 year) is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Macintosh operating platform is a must; PC knowledge is a plus.


Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and provide marketable solutions in conceiving, developing, and producing content.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to learn, grow, and innovate.
  • Experience in 2D motion design (ex: AfterEffects), HTML, Storyline, and other design tools, are a plus.


Must also have the demonstrated understanding of:

  • Color theory and color relationships.
  • Typography
  • Perspective and space relationships.
  • Page composition and grid structures.
  • Print production process, knowledge of production techniques, and correct prepress procedures.


Occasional travel will be required.
