Job Desc:
We have an outstanding Contract position for a Construction Escort to join a leading Company located in the Laurel, MD surrounding area.
We are seeking a Construction Escort to help us with the construction, alteration, repair, and modification of items and structures on the Campus. You'll be joining a team of hardworking construction specialists who improve the quality of the work environment.
Responsibilities :
- Escort non-customer employees to and from various work locations on campus
- Monitor the work of all non-customer employees such that they are within your line of sight
- Interact with the construction team on site for numerous roof repair projects
- Work with our Security team to learn and understand the customer security and escort process
- Operate customer vehicles as needed
Basic Hiring Criteri :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Possess effective verbal and written communication skills, and have experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Possess a valid state of residence driver's license; the selected candidate will be subject to a motor vehicle record check
- Have some construction job site experience
- Essential to the function of this job is the ability to climb stairs and work at heights (i.e., on roofs or other elevated surfaces/structures)
- This position may require the operation of customer vehicles
- This job will require the use of safety shoes, safety glasses, and other personal protective and safety equipment as required for the work being performed
