** Job description**
F. Schumacher & Co., Americas leading name for manufacturing and distributing fabric, wall covering, floorcovering and furnishings is seeking an enthusiastic Showroom Sales Assistant for the Schumacher brand. This person will be responsible for supporting the sales team in selling high-end fabric, wall covering & furniture lines. As a part of the inside sales team, this person will help to reinforce brand positioning within the marketplace and provide key service for accounts within the **Troy, Michigan** territory.

**YOU WILL:**
**The Showroom Sales Assistant plays a critical role in our goal of beautiful selling within a community.**
**Beautiful**
* Maintain visual standards, merchandising, hanging of new product, etc. in the showroom.
* Perform showroom maintenance responsibilities including sample maintenance and inventory, back room organization, and fulfilling memo order requests for clients.
* Collect insight and feedback from clients to determine how we can improve their experience.
* Provide support for general showroom requests and products.
* Generate sales of all product categories to help achieve the overall sales goal.
**Selling**
* Assist in targeted account outreach on new product and offerings through mailings, telephone calls, emails, social media, etc.
* Provide the best possible customer service while enhancing the Schumacher mission to offer the highest quality product and service in the luxury market.
**Community**
* Consistently seek to expand your working knowledge of interior design and current Schumacher collections.
* Support the sales team in creating curated memo and care packages for clients and promoting the local design community.
* Build collaborative internal relationships with the T**roy** sales team and corporate teams.
** Requirements**
**YOU HAVE/ARE****:**
* Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the luxury interior design industry
* Instagram proficient with an eye for creative marketing
* Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills
* Ability to identify growth opportunities including high potential customers and new accounts
* High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
* Proficiency in MS Windows and Office suite
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* A proven proactive self-starter with a positive attitude
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
