No Remote Our clients PSM Managers create real value by ensuring risk is aggressively identified and mitigated, facility H&S strategies are consistent with company H&S and Chemical Process Safety (PSM) visions and strategies and that effective and sustainable management systems are developed and implemented. PSM Managers drive safety excellence and performance improvement through culture change by coaching and developing the facility team.
**Location:** Monroeville AL area **Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Safety or related technical field degree.
* Five (5) or more years working experience in a PSM regulated environment.
* PE, CSP or CIH, or demonstrated progress towards achieving certification is a plus!
* Experience leading culture change and developing/implementing management systems is strongly preferred.
**Responsibilities:**
* Communicating Process Safety Management vision, expectations, strategies and initiatives to assigned plant personnel.
* Ensuring the facility has actionable strategies and that effective metrics are utilized to monitor progress and performance.
* Challenging and coaching on current safety culture, commitment, ownership, risk tolerance, practices, and conditions.
* Developing and using risk assessment methods and tools for anticipating, identifying, and evaluating hazards. Managing and assisting with the mitigation of identified gaps, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.
* Assessing and improving employee ability to identify and manage risk, and to flawlessly execute critical safe work practices.
* Possessing strong Interpersonal, leadership, and motivational skills.
* Leveraging team building skills and the ability to work within a diverse team.
* Working and Leading with an awareness of safety for yourself and others.
