LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to lead our clients' growing manufacturing operations in the Solon, Ohio area. As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines.
- Implement and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide strong leadership to the manufacturing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Set clear expectations, mentor team members, and promote professional development.
- Implement and maintain robust quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of product quality.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any quality issues.
- Uphold and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement improvements as needed.
- Monitor and manage manufacturing budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize material costs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing lean manufacturing principles and identifying areas for operational enhancement.
- Foster a culture of innovation and efficiency within the manufacturing team.
- Communicate regularly with senior management on production metrics, challenges, and opportunities.
- Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanical or Electrical a must- MS a plus.
- Proven experience in plant management within a manufacturing environment for 10 years.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data for strategic decision-making.
- Implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
