Job Details
We are seeking a journalism student who is highly attentive to detail to assist with a 30-day content audit of our newspaper. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent research skills, and a proven ability to work with minimal supervision. This role involves participating in at least two virtual meetings with team members and a team leader. As a content auditor, you can expect to work an average of 12-15 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Please note that this is a non-union, non-salaried position. However, the selected candidate will receive a $1,000 stipend, paid in two installments.
Requirements
- Student covering subjects in journalism, communications, or a related major - or equivalent training.
- Excellent news judgment
- A clear understanding of up-to-date journalism standards and ethics
