Our Opportunity
The Insulation Installer will lay or replace insulation materials in buildings to control or maintain building temperature.
Key duties include:
- Load materials, tools, and equipment on/off the truck for each job.
- Installs and replaces insulation in buildings and mechanical systems.
- Clears and disposes of old insulation according to established safety guidelines.
- Measures and cuts insulation to fit into walls, ceilings, and around pipes.
- Fastens insulation in place with tape, screws, staples, or fasteners as needed.
- Follows company and industry safety guidelines and regulations.
Ideal candidate should have:- Ability to perform physical labor.
- Basic mechanical skills
- Must be able to work well in a team environment.
- Union Certified
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools to install insulation.
- Related experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and calculate insulation.
