Elma is seeking a Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for the supervision of all warehouse functions, including Receiving, Storage/Security, Picking, Dispatch, Shipping, Cycle Counting, Inventory Control, and administrative tasks. This role supports manufacturing, paint, and assembly operations across various production areas. The ideal candidate will possess D365/ERP experience, excellent people skills to mentor and grow their team, and expertise in kitting, Kanban, and material flow processes.


The Warehouse Manager will implement policies and best practices to ensure a safe and secure environment.


Responsibilities


  • Managing Receiving, Storage, and Put-away: Ensuring materials are stored efficiently and promptly.
  • Issuing Materials: Overseeing the distribution of materials for production and assembly, including sheet metals, bar stock, extrusions, hardware, and assembly materials.
  • Shipping Operations: Handling pack-out, palletization, and secure delivery of finished goods.
  • Quality Standards Compliance: Ensuring materials are handled, stored, and packaged according to quality standards, especially for shelf-life and temperature-sensitive items.
  • Team Supervision: Guiding staff through material movement in fabrication, processing, and assembly, and managing work orders.
  • Staff Development: Cross-training employees, managing manpower allocation, and providing motivation and discipline as necessary.
  • Training on Quality Procedures: Educating staff on Elma s quality manual procedures.
  • Safety and Security: Implementing policies for the safekeeping of materials, safe equipment use, staff safety, and protection of company assets.
  • Documentation and Best Practices: Maintaining records of policies, housekeeping, training, attendance, performance, and continuous improvement initiatives (5S).
  • Inventory Management: Conducting daily cycle counts, record-keeping, and addressing variances.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Fulfilling other duties as required.


Requirements

  • 5-8 years of warehouse and team management experience.
  • A thorough understanding of warehouse management procedures, SOPS, and inventory systems.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Required ERP experience, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics D365.
  • Extensive manufacturing experience, with a firm grasp of Bill of Materials and Backflushing principles.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • A valid driver s license and forklift certification, with effective forklift operation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and people skills.
  • Availability for extended work hours.
