Trexquant is a growing systematic fund manager with a core team of highly accomplished technologists. We apply a wide variety of statistical and machine learning techniques to build investment portfolios and trade our client assets in global equity and futures markets. With locations in the US, China and India, our global team in excess of 50 employees is comprised primarily of research professionals with advanced science, math and technology degrees who explore the universe of quantitative methods for opportunities to enhance and adapt our platform to make money in an exciting and dynamic environment.

We seek an innovative and experienced technology recruiter who will modernize and energize our recruiting efforts to staff up the company worldwide with additional top technical, research and corporate talent to meet its aggressive growth targets for 2022 and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the CEO and other senior officers to manage culture and develop a strategy to attract and retain and source top talent in a highly competitive environment.
  • Coordination of the recruiting resources and technology. Participate in the recruiting and hiring process and then develop processes and tools for our team of in-house recruiters who liaise with candidates, external recruiters, university career centers and technology platforms to identify and attract candidates.
  • Promote and raise awareness of Trexquant at schools, online and elsewhere to attract talent by marketing and other automated efforts.

Requirements

  • Ability to use automation platforms to make the recruiting process more efficient (may include software skills such as python or use of toolsets which systemically allow refinement from candidate to interview).
  • Undergraduate degree ideally in a technology field.
  • Good people skills and communication ability with technologists.
  • 5+ years in a role ideally cultivating academic, technical or ideally financial quant talent in an automated environment.
  • Self-starter able to work in an unstructured environment with shifting priorities.

NY/CT: Salary dependent upon experience - annual range expected 180k-220k plus discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
