As the **Environmental, Health and Safety Manager** with **Liberty Packaging Twin Cities**, you will lead safety and environmental practices in our corrugated box plants and work with cross-functional teams to drive Safety improvement in day-to-day processes and systems as well as improvement projects.
This full-time position reports directly to the **Regional Environmental, Health and Safety /Quality Director** and will work between at Liberty Packagings manufacturing plants in Golden Valley and Brooklyn Park.
**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:**
* Promote an incident-free work environment by developing plans and deliver programs to assist managers and employees in workplace safety and environmental practices
* Lead and coordinate EHS assessments to detect existing or potential incident hazards and determine corrective/preventative measures
* Address and process issues by investigating surrounding incidents, customer product issues and plant systems using root cause analysis
* Lead projects from start to finish as you facilitate and promote operational excellence and drive a culture of employee engagement around safety and process improvement
* Collaborate with leadership team to execute on all local, state and federal regulatory EHS requirements and company EHS programs
* Audit processes to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations
* Track, monitor and report projects related to Safety programs
* Train employees on Safety processes, systems and requirements
**Required Skills**
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
* Bachelors degree, technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
* 5-7 years of Safety experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
* Previous supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred
* Experience with ERP Systems
* Experience with incident management reporting system
* Solid organization skills and strong attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills, using Microsoft Office
* Understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S and Root Cause Analysis
