**The Church:** St. Malachy Catholic Church and School is located in Brownsburg, Indiana. We have a thriving community of over 2,000 families and 7,000 members. Our school educates more than 480 students in preschool through 8th grade. This simple acronym, through Jesus, is the source for all ministries, activities and events within the church and school.
**The Position:** The Cafeteria Manager fulfills the mission of St. Malachy Catholic Church and School by managing the school cafeteria and lunch program. The Cafeteria Manager is responsible for coordinating and implementing the school's food program within the guidelines established by the school and state government. This is done in a safe and cost effective manner while presenting him or herself professionally.
**Requirements:**
* Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and mission of the church and school.
* Must have a working knowledge of food preparation, a desire to introduce children to new foods and nutritional benefits, and a willingness to learn new cooking techniques.
* Must have good interpersonal communication skills with staff, school parents and outside visitors.
* Must be able to present him or herself in a professional manner.
* Must be able to organize and prioritize time.
* Must have the ability to perform outlined tasks.
* Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
* Must be able to manage and work effectively with all other staff members.
