The team member will operate a forklift or work with the LGV (Laser Guided Vehicle) and handling system. This includes checking outbound trailers prior to loading, monitoring all LGV activity in the warehouse, following SOPs to maintain inventory accuracy, prepping loads for cross country shipments and customer requirements, while maintaining a clean, and safe work environment.Essential FunctionsLGV sitesReceive and process all inbound orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including raw materials, pallets, ingredients, and internal transfers.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for receiving, including compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) efficiently and accurately.Validate new SKU's in the WMS to ensure proper storage and handling by the LGVs (Laser Guided Vehicles).Clear blocked locations in WMS to ensure smooth operations.Coordinate with CSO (Central Shipping Office) to ensure smooth flow of shipments in and out of the warehouse as per schedule.Compile records by SKU, quantities, sub-inventories, and validate Oracle EBS, and WMS inventories against physical counts to investigate and adjust errors. Report reasons for discrepanciesRoutine TasksRebuilds damaged pallets prior to restockConsolidates finished goods storage for maximum storage capabilitiesIdentifies, reports and observes quality issues with finished goods and RMSCorrects product spillsManually pulls pallets from production as neededSupplies production with non-inventory items (glue, bags, labels etc.)Clears up blocked locations in WMSWill be required to operate a forklift when needed and unloads finished goods and raw material deliveries.Facilitates the flow of information between logistics, production and sales to ensure timely and accurate service to customer baseTests and monitors resin and spring waterCoordinates preload activities including inspecting trailers to ensure all loads are completed on timeProvides correct loading document/bills of lading and truck seals upon leaving the facility as neededMaintains appropriate records and reports required for daily shipping and inventory controlInvolvement in continued process improvement and cost reductionMaintains a clean, orderly and safe warehouseRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this jobAnswers/makes phone calls using proper phone etiquetteCommunicates with inside and outside contacts to ensure loading of trucks on time and troubleshoot any issuesCoordinates with transportation and production/scheduling to ensure all shipments are flowing in and out of warehouse as scheduledPerforms any task that is not deemed unreasonable or unsafe and is asked to be done by team member s manager or supervisorPlease note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
