JOB DESCRIPTION Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Follows engineering drawings, work order information,

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Build assemblies and subassemblies (including specialty assemblies)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Set-up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment within a continuous production/processing operation.

* Measure, build and assembly components per SOPs, schematics, blueprints, engineering orders, and job sheets.

* Competently perform up to six (6) of the following tasks:

i. Bubble Point

ii. Post-Impregnate

iii. O-Ring

iv. Laser Marking

v. Monsanto

vi. BPT Repair

vii. Gasket Installation

viii. Neff Pressing

ix. Lock Wiring

x. Push Testing

xi. Water Treating

xii. Belly banding

xiii. Perform core wrapping tasks

* Work with and mix chemicals, oils, and solvents as stated within the SOPs.

* Process parts in an explosion proof room.

* Use basic measuring equipment (i.e. calipers, scale, thermometers, high gauge, etc.).

* Complete all necessary paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers and data, Follower Tags, ATP, Slitter Sheets, etc.).

* Learn and become efficient in working with 2-part epoxies.

* Communicate ideas, problems, and concerns to management.

* Work under the direction of supervisors, and more experienced personnel with little supervision.

* Move/Float within the Elements/Cabin Air Lines.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

* Prior work experience in a manufacturing or assembly related environment is an asset.

* Basic Math Skills (i.e. Shop Math). Ability to read and understand blueprints, verbal and written work instructions.

* Ability to use and read calipers to make precision measurements. Must be computer literate (i.e. MS Office Excel).

* Work overtime as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

* Must pass a basic vision test.

* Bending, lifting, standing, sitting, and twisting for long periods of time.

* Required to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.

Good eye and hand dexterity.

* Must wear all PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) when performing tasks.

* Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area.

* Ability to interact with co-workers across functions.

* Participate in a minimum of one (1) Kaizen event per year.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

* This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

* Must follow all environmental policies and procedures when working with chemicals, oils, and solvents.
