The **Guest Services Supervisor** provides oversight of the day-to-day operations of the KentHOPE Day Center, working with staff to provide high quality services and care for women and children experiencing homelessness. This position is responsible to oversee for all activities, services, case management, and support for guests during their stay at KentHOPE, as well as direct oversight of Day Center Guest Services Associates.

**Shift Schedule**

Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00 pm with occasional evening, weekend, holiday.

**Responsibilities**

* Oversee overall operations of the KentHOPE Day Center Guest Services in cooperation with the KentHOPE Ministries Manager.

* Maintain overnight shelter bed list availability and oversee communication between overnight shelter and day center staff

* Oversee intake, exits, length of stay, action plans, and accountability for guests

* Provide direct oversight of KentHOPE Day Center Guest Services Associates; includes scheduling, training, performance reviews and disciplinary actions.

* Facilitate relational ministry with women and children; walking alongside them on their journey out of homelessness.

* Maintain communication between KentHOPE and Seattles Union Gospel Mission Services, including Hope Place; advocating for guests pursuing recovery programs

* Coordinate weekly activities for guests at KentHOPE Day Center.

* Administrative tasks which includes monitoring supplies, keep forms up-to-date, responding to email and phone calls in a timely manner, assist in the preparation and planning of monthly staff meetings

* Assist in compilation of monthly statistical reports for KentHOPE and submit for monthly Program Report.

* Work closely with the KentHOPE Board, Steering Committee and High Impact Volunteers

* Ensure the cleanliness of all KentHOPE property and facilities, maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests, staff, interns and volunteers.

* Coordinate, schedule and network with outside social service agencies, community partners, and churches to provide guest services

* Maintain a positive, pleasant, professional Christian attitude. Work with other staff to forge and model transparent and supportive Christian relationships which will serve as a leadership example for KentHOPE staff and guests.

* Seattles Union Gospel Mission accepts and encourages the involvement of volunteers at all levels in the organization. Provide assistance in the creation of meaningful and productive roles in which volunteers might serve at KentHOPE. All employees are expected to interact positively and cooperatively with volunteers.

* Attend and participate in all Mission, Division and Department meetings and training, as required.

* Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

* Two-year degree in related field or equivalent experience required.

* Prior experience in related field required. Work experience in rescue mission context highly preferred.

* Supervisory experience required.

* Possess a valid Washington State Drivers License and be able to meet the standards of the Mission driver criteria required, including but not limited to:

+ Clean driving record

+ No current suspensions or revocations

+ At least 21 years of age

**Work Environment**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time in a temperature-controlled environment. Requires frequent use of computers, keyboarding and talking on the telephone. Occasionally will stand, balance, twist, bend, stoop, kneel and reach with hands/arms. Regularly lifts up to 20 pounds and walks, use stairways to climb to multiple floors within the facility. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
