Would you currently be interested in working as a trainer for social studies teachers on a part time basis from July 2024 - April 2025?
In this job you will be trained on how to train the teachers. You will be training them on an evidence-based history content-literacy intervention program.

Technology Proficiency Requirements:
1. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT, SharePoint), including the ability to maintain an Outlook calendar.
2. Demonstrated experience with Zoom, including setting up a Zoom account, scheduling Zoom meetings, recording Zoom meetings, uploading Zoom recordings to a shared SharePoint site.
Important Notes:
1. This position requires in-person work in middle schools. You must be able to pass a
background check given by the school district.
2. This position requires availability for meetings during the school day (8am-3pm).
Qualifications:
Masters degree and three to five years of teaching experience or a Bachelors degree and ten to fifteen years of teaching experience. Other combinations of experience will be considered.
History of excelling in prior teaching positions, particularly with content literacy.
Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in literacy instruction.
Knowledgeable about reading processes, assessment, and instruction.
Prior successful experience leading professional learning communities, conducting professional development, or coaching elementary, middle, or high school teachers is strongly desired.
Ability to facilitate dynamic training, strong communication skills, and comfort speaking in front of groups.
Demonstrated punctuality, preparedness, organization, and flexibility.
