Job Description
While working safely, handle all yarn and bobbins properly and ensure Warpers and Warper/Slasher are properly creeled (i.e., loaded with yarn packages or bobbins) to maintain quality and production. Follow production schedule to determine yarn type and end-count and assist with splicing each end for efficient pullover. Obtain yarn packing dates and pack empty bobbins per supplier requirements and complete corresponding paperwork. Reject off-quality bobbins or yarn per quality standards using proper reject procedures. Maintain a safe and clean work area and machinery at all times and follow the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) procedures established for the preparation department. Report any and all off quality issues to Area Management immediately.
Requirements
1. HS Diploma, GED or equivalent
2. 0-3 years experience
3. Basic knowledge of computers
4. Must be able to work in a tight, confined area without damaging yarn
