IRT Home Care, a division of the IRT Group, provides a range of services to people living in their own homes across NSW, QLD and the ACT. Our industry is growing rapidly and as a result we currently are looking for people who have a genuine passion for supporting older Australians. We are seeking motivated and dedicated Home Care Employees to join our team either on a part time basis with a minimum guarantee of 10 hours per week, or on a casual basis (dependent on availability). Our Shoalhaven South region spans from Sussex Inlet to North Durras
**Your responsibilities will include:**
* Providing personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
* Providing domestic assistance such as food preparation, household cleaning and assisting with finances
* Transportation to medical appointments, shopping, social outings and other customer tasks
* Regular reporting and communicating customer progress
* Following individual care plans
**To be successful you will have:**
* Certificate III in Individual Support including the medications unit of competency (desirable)
* Current First Aid certificate (or willing to obtain)
* Current valid drivers licence
* A reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance (work related approved kilometres are paid fortnightly)
* The availability to work across the day including weekends, afternoons and/or evenings
* Local support provided from management and experienced team
