Assembly Technician


Job Details

Phenom Yachts is seeking a talented Assembly Technician to join our team! As an Assembly Technician you will be responsible for working in a variety of areas, including capping, consoles, cushing installation, rubrail, t-top or motor installation. You should be comfortable using both basic and electronic hand tools. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in boat building and passion for working with their hands.

You will play a key role in:

  • Assemble and install equipment meeting high quality standards and daily production numbers
  • Pull wires, install equipment like Yamaha outboards, Garmin systems, stereo components, navigation systems, other hardware to specification
  • Use basic hand tools and power equipment (miter saw, reciprocating saw, drill, driver, etc.)
  • Build T-tops and consoles
  • Inspect parts for accuracy and quality
  • Follow safety procedures
  • Maintain area tools and equipment
  • Able to read and interpret manufacturing schedules
  • Able to read and understand units of measure
  • Physically able to climb in and out of boats
  • Be challenged and have fun along the way
  • Maintain drive and a continuous improvement mindset

We're looking for someone with:
  • Experience with air, hand, and power tools
  • Experience in boating, automotive, electrical, or carpentry
  • Ability to climb in and out of boats, bend, and stand for up to 8 hours per day
